About the Lean Explorer Team

Hi guys!

We are students at Catòlica-Lisbon Business School attending the master program. In that regard we are taking a course called Entrepreneurship and Business Planning.

During the first lecture we got introduced to our lecturers which are both experienced and knowledgeable entrepreneurs. We are looking forward to learning from them. In addition we got a challange to start a blog, present ourselves, reflect over lessons learned in class and be interesting. We will try to do all, especially the last one!

This blog will (rather informally) document our exciting journey to become entrepreneurs and bizplanners. We are starting with a presentation of the group. The next post will be lessons learned from session 1.

This is Manuel:

Man2 Man1“My name is Manuel, I am from Austria and I am currently studying Business Administration at CATÓLICA-Lisbon, majoring in Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

I am curious about fresh ideas and I envision that being successful in making a business idea become reality would be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling professional achievements.

Our team is made up of people from different nationalities and backgrounds and I am convinced that together with our experienced professors we will have very interesting discussions. In a team it is important to learn from each other and it will be exciting to develop our ideas together”.

This is Erick:

ErickErick2“Hi ! I’m Erick, I come from Belgium and I’m here at Catolica to do my Master degree in Business Administration with a major in Innovation and technology. I’ve done my Bachelor at Solvay Business School in Brussels but I felt it was right time for me to open up the world and to get back to my roots. That’s why I chose Lisbon and Catolica to finish my studies. On a business level I would describe myself as dedicated, creative, and open minded when it comes to new ideas. On a personal level I’m an outgoing and very friendly person, I like to socialize with people from all over the world and also to find out about other cultures. I’m very happy to contribute to the class of entrepreneurship at Catolica Lisbon, I believe this is the opportunity for me not only to prove what my true potential is, but also to acquire the necessary tools to hopefully achieve a great future career as an entrepreneur.”

This is Charlotte:

Charlotte“Hi everyone! I’m Charlotte, a full time Master’s student at the Catolica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. I took my undergrad at the University of Manchester, England and spent a year abroad in Italy, studying at Universita Bocconi.

People who know me best would say that I am outgoing, fun and hardworking. I love to travel and to ski, although I definitely don’t go often enough. I generally like to keep active and challenge myself to try new things, that’s why I’m so excited to be part of the team for the Entrepreneurship and Business Planning project; to create new ideas and develop new skills in this challenging new project that we’re working on!”
